The ONLY things that have made me cry in the "last" week

1) watching the 10 day weather forecast knowing that I wont be around after 4 days
2) watching the Qantas "I still call Australia home" advertising campaign at the movies

I find this very unusual.

I'm almost disappointed at myself if not just so surprised that the week leading up to my departure after the whole passport extravaganza is fine... but for the above-mentioned crap.

I guess I kinda expected more.

Out with the old, in with the new...

With my bags-a-packed, passport-in-tow and old passport en-route I'm all ready to go!!
Oh dear Lord. I rhymed.

I feel like the last few weeks of 2009 really kicked my ass, but I'm a Bikram yogi so I enjoy a hefty ass-kicking at the best of times.

We brought in 2010 with a glorious party on the beach with my closest friends (and about 20 randoms that began showing up after the sashimi and oysters were served)...who'd have thought raw fishy delights would bring in the crowds?

It was nice to say goodbye to 2009... not because it was a bad year, it was a FABULOUS year, I met amazing people, did amazing things and spent some nice old fashioned family time before my big move up north... but there's just something special about the number 10...I felt like last year was all about planting seeds and preparing myself for the next phase of my life...life after 30 and life in europe.

Now I read something interesting, and I must preface this by saying that Im not a big horoscope lady. Not at the best of times. But i was sent the link to the most amazing horoscope on the web that kinda blew me away... according to this link, my first part of Jan 2010 is all about travel first for some relaxation and then on Jan 15, im taking another trip...somewhere and i quote "taking me closer to home". Now the reason its so wierd is that i'm leaving on Jan 09 for Copenhagen where I'll be chilling for a week and then Jan 15, we make the trip to Oslo... strange. And stranger still, my husbands horoscope read along the same lines? how do these people do this?!?

Other than reading horoscopes and celebrating the new year, life has been just lovely.

2010. Bring it.

xx
